Chhokka

Ingredients: 250 gm peeled and cubed potatoes

250 gm peeled and cubed pumpkin
2 tbsp oil
2 bayleaves
1/4 tsp onion seeds
1/4 tsp fennel seeds
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
2 dried red chillies
2 split green chillies
1 tsp shredded ginger
150 ml curds
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp sugar
rock salt to taste


Method: Shallow fry the potatoes and pumpkin in oil. Remove from the pan

Add all the spices except coriander and cumin powder in the same pan. Cook for a few minutes. Add the curd.

Replace the vegetables into the pan. Add the sugar and seasoning. Cook until tender.

Garnish with coriander and cumin powder.
